BETTERBALL!

2016-17 Winter League Registration Information

The BETTERBALL! League is a SCHOOL league with players forming a team with boys or girls from their school/parish. Players may join together with kids from two schools/parishes if they are having trouble getting a full team together.

** NEW registration procedure for 2016-17 Season **

STEP 1: HEAD COACHES REGISTER YOUR TEAM ONLINE
* Please register your team by November 4, 2016. We will make every effort to accept all teams who wish to play in the league but space might be limited for some divisions. The team fee is $1,100.
* Log-in to your account and proceed to register your son or daughter for the proper program. The registration system will ask if you have a team code, at this point choose "NO" and then click CONTINUE to register as the head coach.
* You have the option to pay the team fee by credit card online or to pay by check (which can be one check or a collection of checks from each family). All fees must be paid by November 20.

STEP 2: INVITE PLAYERS TO YOUR TEAM
* Once your team registration is complete, visit your TEAM PAGE to send invitations to players and others Coaches or Team Managers. Once on your TEAM PAGE, click ROSTERS, and then MANAGE ROSTER INVITES to send the invitations .
* If your school will have more than one team in the division (i.e., two 3rd grade boys teams from one school), please create your teams by Nov 4 and invite your players using each of the team codes after your rosters are set (no later than November 20).

We believe...

League Mission

The league mission is to provide young kids an opportunity to play in a structured basketball game with many teachable moments along the way about sportsmanship, teamwork and the game of basketball.

Dr. James Naismith invented basketball in 1891 because he felt sports should enrich the total individual in mind, body and spirit for coaches and players alike. He envisioned five players on the floor functioning as one cohesive unit that share a common understanding that no one player is more important than another. That's our focus for 2016-17 and we hope you'll join us!
