Saturday 9/12 at 9:00 AM we will kick off our first 6x6 game of the season against PRYAA U10B Bucks on field 2 at PBC. I would like the whole team to get together a little bit earlier if possible; I will be there from 8:00 AM. There a schedule beyond that but it has not been finalized because the game scheduler had our team playing against two different teams on the same day at the same time. Even though we will be fabulous; that is a bit much!

Quick logistic fact: if you are standing on the soccer fields facing East Jones Bridge park, the white house on the right is where Sebastiaan and I live (together with Mona and Alex). Typically the backyard gate is open on game days and practice evenings. If you live in the River Station subdivision, feel free to park on Goose Creek Cove and walk through the gates to the soccer fields.

Further good news; as of next week I will be able to lead all Monday evening practices. It will be the last Wednesday I can not attend, after that I will be there every training.

If all goes well the jerseys, shorts, socks and backpacks will be ready for pickup on Thursday and Friday. I have not received word yet where and when, but please come prepared with a check of $35 payable to PBC Sports.

One more thing; internally we are listed as Team Orange. On the game schedule we are listed as "JBS U10B Beart". Surely we can do better than that? Ask your son for suggestions and we will vote for a proper team name on Saturday.
